Description: The playshops (aka workshops) are designed for those looking to take their digital art, images and photography beyond the printed page. Participants will work with their own completed digital imagery as the basis of the work. The focus is on outputting these files to alternative surfaces such as acrylic skins, handmade paper, non-porous surfaces, and transfer film. Participants will have time to create several alternative digital prints though out the playshop.
The playshops are lead by digital artist Lyn Bishop. Lyn is an accomplished artist who continues to push the boundaries of alternative digital printmaking. Her past playshops have included sessions at SIGGRAPH, an international conference on computer graphics, National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India, and in her own studio in Sunnyvale, CA.

Requirements:
A comfortable understanding of Adobe Photoshop.
Your own digital files brought to class on a USB Thumb Drive or CD
Optional: a personal laptop computer with Photoshop 7.0 or later installed on it.
