Dear Art Lover,

Happy Halloween! I can’t believe autumn is in full swing, and that I’m already seeing appearances of Frosty-the-Snowman along side piles of candy wrapped in orange and black.

The past few months have been busy with project management for Global Fusion, working on websites and proposals more than new artwork. But even so, I’ve been able to carve out a few hours each week for physical artmaking, something I find I can’t do without. I’ll be showing new pieces from this mixed-media series at the Benefit for Global Fusion in November.

If your in the Bay Area, I hope you’ll stop by in November. Thanks for your continued support of the arts, now, more than ever, your continued support of arts in your community is essential to keeping them alive.

* CURRENT EXHIBITS *
~~~ A BENEFIT FOR GLOBAL FUSION ~~~
A benefit art sale for Global Fusion. Global Fusion is a year-long arts and culture project that begins in May 2004. The project takes Silicon Valley artist Lyn Bishop and Japanese journalist Taro Tsuzuki around the globe to experience, explore, and share ideas of cultural identity. Learn more about the project at http://www.onelove.com/globalfusion
In our effort to fund the project, I’m having a special benefit sale of my artwork, with all profits going towards the Global Fusion project. Come bid on items in the silent auction and buy raffle tickets for a chance to win art prizes.
This will be my last Open Studio until 2006, making it the perfect opportunity to pick up the artwork you have always wanted, while supporting a worthy project at the same time.
~~~ IN THE COLLECTION OF… ~~~
The commissioned work for the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs has been delivered. It’s a long 40" x 30" print tilted Osivla. The tilte comes from Alviso spelled backwards because that’s where I collected all the source material for the piece. Check it out if your in Palm Springs.

~~~ ARTIST FOR HIRE/ ART FOR SALE ~~~
I’m accepting new private, public and corporate commissions on custom artwork. Commissioned artwork is created specifically for you, and provides you with the opportunity to celebrate life or business events through the creation of a piece of art.
