Purchasing Details
Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed
Buying art should be a happy and satisfying experience. If for any reason, what you ordered is not what you expected, you may return it within five (5) days of receipt of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Please contact the Studio before returning the artwork. The artwork must be returned in original condition and in the original packaging to ensure a safe return. As soon as I receive the art a credit will be issued for the purchase price. We want you to feel comfortable buying art online from Lyn Bishop, and to build a relationship rather than just make a sale.

I takes extra care to package and ship your artwork safely. When your order arrives check it carefully for any damage before opening. If your order does not arrive safely due to damage during shipping, please call the Studio immediately.

Shipping and Handling Charges
Artwork is shipped Federal Express. While it is FedEx's policy not to insure artwork over $100, I have experienced them to be a safe and reliable means of shipping. I personally package each piece carefully to insure it's safe arrival.

Caring for the Art.
All of our images are prepared with the expectation that they will be framed with acid-free archival materials, under UV-protective acrylic or glass, and hung in a normally heated/cooled indoor environment out of direct sunlight.

Glossary of Terms
Luminescent Print
Luminescent Print is a term Lyn uses for a mixed-media digital print that exhibits a shimmery quality to the image. This effect is caused by undercoating pearlescent acrylic paint to the surface of the paper before printing. The printed image appears on top of the luminescent base, creating qualities of light and reflection in the work.
Lenticular Print
The word "Lenticular" refers to an image that exhibits properties of depth, motion or morphing. The printed image appears to recede or come forward in space as the viewer interacts with it, creating an illusion that pushes the two-dimensional image beyond its physical boundaries. Each Lenticular Print is crafted with archival inks and papers and professionally mounted to the lenticular lens for accurate viewing.
Mixed Media Transfer
The term Mixed Media Transfer is used to describe an image that has been moved off of a film based substrait onto an alternative surface such as wood, canvas, tile or even paper. Each transfer print is a hand-pulled monoprint original. The process results in artwork that exhibits unique qualities and imperfections, giving the image it's own personality.
Fine Art Pigment Print
Each of Lyn Bishops' Fine Art Pigment Prints are hand-crafted by the artist in small editions using only archival 100% pigment-based inks and fine quality archival papers. The final pieces are original works and are not reproductions of work completed in another medium. Each print is hand finished, signed and numbered by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Discerning collectors, galleries and museums embrace the use of pigment ink.
Digital Fine Art Print
Like the Fine Art Pigment Prints, each Digital Fine Art Print is also hand-crafted by the artist in small editions using only archival dye-based inks and fine quality archival papers. Each piece is an original work and differs from a reproduction of work completed in another medium. Each print is hand finished, signed and numbered by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Iris Fine Art Print
Lyn has worked with master digital printmakers to craft her Iris Fine Art Prints in small editions using only archival inks and papers. The final pieces are original works and are not reproductions of work completed in another medium. Each print is hand finished, signed and numbered by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The Iris print became the first digital printmaking process to be accepted by museums like The Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, the Smithsonian, and the Walker Art Center.
